Dr. Julie Bajic Smith (PhD), a registered psychologist, has over 15 years of experience in aged care as a clinician and researcher. Her doctorate and postdoctoral research focused on home care workers' wellbeing and decision-making in dementia. Julie's publications address the emotional challenges and burnout faced by carers. Her book, Beyond the Reluctant Move, enhances emotional wellbeing in aged care. As a board-approved supervisor, she guides intern psychologists and mental health professionals. Julie also developed award-winning psychological programs for new aged care residents, making a profound impact on older adults and their carers with her support and practical solutions.
